All Osgoode students are invited to participate in an interactive session on Tools for Addressing Racism in the Legal Profession. This session will focus on practical ways to address intersectional forms of racism in the legal profession. Prof. Tomee Sojourner-Campbell will lead students in a discussion of topics such as anti-Black racism, racial justice, intersectionality, access to justice, allyship, and resilience. Students will:
  • Develop a deeper understanding about intersectional forms of racism in the legal profession;
  • Gain practical knowledge about how to address racism on professional and personal levels; and
  • Share practical tips about resilience, self-care, self-awareness and self-advocacy.
